About ICED Africa

Empowering people. Supporting communities. Creating opportunities.

Our Story

ICED Africa exists to rehabilitate children by giving them access to free, qualitative education, shelter, food and clothing, and counseling for the abused among them — rescuing them from the damage done by illiteracy, ignorance and poverty.

Our first initiative was carried out at LA Government Primary School, Ajegunle, where we distributed over 403 pairs of school sandals to students with worn-out footwear and more than 1,000 exercise books to the entire student body, alongside education, entertainment and refreshments.

Our Mission

To empower individuals and communities through education, creativity, humanitarian intervention, skills development and access to opportunities that promote sustainable social and economic development.

Our Vision

To make education free, qualitative and accessible to every less-privileged African child — regardless of class, tribe, religion, culture or social status — and to build an educational foundation tree growing out of Africa, providing a learning shelter for underprivileged children the world over.

Our Community Story

Development begins at community level

ICED believes that meaningful social impact does not always begin with large projects.

Sometimes it begins with reaching a rural community.

Sometimes it is providing essential items to families who need support.

Sometimes it is helping a young person recognise an opportunity that previously appeared beyond their reach.

Our previous community outreach and donation initiatives reflect this philosophy.

As ICED grows, we intend to build upon this foundation by developing more structured programmes in education, youth empowerment, creativity, community intervention and international collaboration.

Every child deserves a shot at a better story.

Your support pays for school shoes, exercise books, shelter, meals and counseling for children who have known too little of all four.
